The evening will also include a dress drive where attendees will be encouraged to bring new or gently-worn dresses that will be given to women in low income areas as an incentive to get consistent mammograms and clinical visits.

#AllDressedUp presents an amazing opportunity for men and women to be fashionably philanthropic while indirectly saving the lives of women suffering from breast cancer. The intimate setting will create a unique platform to educate attendees about the perils of breast cancer and empower women to consistently receive mammograms while guest network with local celebrities, taste-makers and business professionals. The charitable affair includes tasty foods, signature cocktails, live entertainment, fashions by local boutiques and a clothing drive to benefit low income women.

Breast Cancer Survivor
Shondia McFadden-Sabari
Shondia McFadden-Sabari, the founder of Bold and Breastless, Inc. had a double bilateral mastectomy on February 11, 2011. After the surgery, Shondia decided not to have reconstructive surgery and also declined wearing breast forms. Diagnosed at the age of 36, she was blessed to be a survivor! In an effort to empower other survivors and to make a confident and bold stance against breast cancer she is a walking testimony to strength and perseverance. Her stance is that if a mastectomy is necessary, it’s okay to have reconstructive surgery or wear prosthesis. However, it’s also okay to be breastless too!
Life is all that really matters!
Bold and Breastless, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed to educate, inspire, and motivate women, children, and men that have been affected by breast cancer. The organization raises funds to increase awareness, assist cancer patients, cancer survivors and co-survivors, as well as motivate the general public, to take an active role in participating and partnering with cancer and health institutions and other advocates to help find a cure for cancer.
